Ziarah in Makkah
The city where the Prophet (PBUH) was born and where revelation began is filled with landmarks of immense historical significance.
- Jabal al-Nour (The Mountain of Light): This mountain houses the famous Cave of Hira, where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received the first divine revelation from Allah through the angel Jibril (AS). The climb is steep, but the spiritual feeling at the top is unparalleled.
- Jabal Thawr: This is the mountain containing the cave where the Prophet (PBUH) and his companion, Abu Bakr (RA), took shelter for three days and nights during their migration (Hijrah) to Madinah, hiding from the Quraysh.

- Masjid Quba: This is the first mosque ever built in Islam. The Prophet (PBUH) himself laid its first stones. It is narrated that performing two Rak’at of prayer in Masjid Quba holds the reward equivalent to performing one Umrah.
- Jabal Uhud (Mount Uhud): The site of the historic Battle of Uhud. Visiting this mountain is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices of the early Muslims. At its foot lies the graveyard of the 70 martyrs of Uhud, including the Prophet’s (PBUH) brave uncle, Hamza (RA).
- Masjid al-Qiblatayn (The Mosque of Two Qiblas): This mosque holds a unique place in Islamic history. It was here that the divine command came to change the direction of prayer (Qibla) from Baitul-Maqdis (Jerusalem) to the Kaaba in Makkah.
- The Seven Mosques (Sab’a Masajid): This is a complex of six (originally seven) small, historical mosques located at the site of the Battle of the Trench (Ghazwa-e-Khandaq). They serve as a reminder of the different strategic posts held during the battle.
